Pros

Decent pay, opportunities for growth.

Cons

I’m not sure if it was just the doctor at my clinic or heart and paw in general but when there was an opportunity to promote a good employee from within to the clinical manager position she was led on and made to believe that would be her job but she was not told that the whole time the doctor had interviewed outside people and hired someone else instead. Shady. Several employees filed complaints abt one doctor to HR and they were never addressed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Our goal is to provide a positive and supportive work environment for all team members, and competitive pay and ample growth opportunities are two ways employees are cared for here. We respect and value every member of the team and are always looking for ways to advance and promote from within. We hear your concern and encourage any current employees to reach out to their direct supervisor if they have issues they would like to address. It's clear you cared deeply about your team and the organization, and we appreciate all of your contributions.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you had a great experience at H+P, and we genuinely were sorry to lose some talented team members as we worked to streamline our operations. We thank you for your service to Heart + Paw. We did make a change to our go-forward strategy that will enable Heart + Paw to grow primarily through a co-ownership de novo business model. That business mode, unfortunately, requires fewer people in our central support center, so we had to make the very difficult decision to streamline the team. We are actively working with impacted team members on placements in our local Centers or at other organizations, where possible, as well as offering severance and benefits coverage. This was not a reflection on the team, but rather a sharpening of our focus to impact our future growth most positively.

Pros

Flexibility with hours/scheduling, good PTO/vacation time, mostly wonderful team members, opportunities for growth (only if you are a good worker)

Cons

The company seems to care far more about expanding than catering to the centers that are already up and running. Prices change frequently (with no notice to clients or staff, including center managers) when the company needs to make more money and they are quick to shut parts of centers down if they are not successful. Little to no raises, no bonuses.
