Pros

Employees on the floor are friendly and hard workers.

Cons

BEWARE, this by far was the worst call center I have ever worked for ever!!! They have rules for everything and training is just all over the place. Management will WATCH YOU from their offices or HOME through CAMERAS throughout the building! Upper management is so out of touch with current business acumen and processes present in call centers today. There are so many double standards within management and they will require supervisors to enforce their many assinine rules. All cellphones, for the exception of the managers, MUST be locked in a locker! There's NO COFFEE or snacks of any kind allowed on the call center floor. One minute late occurences are write-ups. The SYSTEMS are archaic and simply outdated. They use an old version of Interaction Client with older style headsets and manually place calls on hold. The call monitoring is sooo old school. Every system has a manual process which makes everything time consuming and inefficient. In fact, they send many EMAILS to update reps on product and procedures. There is NOT a system (Intranet) where reps can search product, policy and procedures, and updates. They make reps rely on paper or searching and sending many emails.

Pros

The satellite offices have freedom to achieve business expectations. The opportunities to affect and drive technology choice is good. Management attempts to create a creative and cooperative environment are appropriated.

Cons

All the Pros above only apply to the satellite offices. The corporate office is stagnate and rife with fear driven management were they over load the employees to the point of creating unnecessary red tape in order to control the work load. And they stuff you in teeny tiny cubes in noisy work spaces. The Con of a satellite office is no upward mobility. Expect to stay in the position you are hired for until you either move to Atlanta or you move on to a new position. No apparition by the company for above and beyond efforts or performance. You get the same pay in the end no matter how much extra you put in. They create a 9-5 work environment. For example when asked about bonuses and why Incomm doesn't give them the response was they do, you get 401K matching. The company puts no skin in the game. For example your PTO does not get rolled over in a new year. Use it or loose it. And if you go negative in PTO then the company will take it out of your pay if you leave before recouping it. Which would be fine except if you have left over PTO when you leave then its lost, no payout. Additionally, this results in a condition where just before the PTO expires the company may as shut down because you can't get anyone to do anything because they are all attempting to make use of their PTO before they loose it. Their technology (especially hardware) choices undermine individual success. For example McAfee scans make all but Windows 10 laptops useless until they finish, hours later. And they scans have to be ran during business hours. There is much more but I would like this review to be educational and constructive. It is not intended to be a negative attack but rather something that the company sees then reviews and improves upon.

Pros

I enjoyed my time with Incomm.

Cons

Incomm fired 30 members of the Field Support team in May2016. Many of those employees had been with Incomm for 10 years or more and helped Incomm grow to what is is today. The worst part, this is privately owned company. The owner made the decision to remove these employees, not shareholders. Lastly, too bad someone could not have taken a few minutes to help relocate these team members to other positions inside the company. The Hiring website listed over 100 jobs the day Field Support was released.
