Cons

They talk about culture, but they don’t follow through with actions. You will work very long hours and be very short staffed. If you are lucky, you will have a good person as a manager. Your manager may be compassionate and try to protect you from the overload. If you are not so lucky, People Ops and executive team will do nothing. They will thank you for the feedback and then decide you’re the problem. It isn’t unusual to go 18 months without any salary increase. Nada. Zip. Zero percent increase while your cost of living keeps increasing. They just forced out the CMO and a director of engineering within their first year. I don’t know how they plan to build software or market it without the leadership. (You’d have to be pretty confident or pretty crazy to choose to do both terminations in one month.) They are losing a lot of people in the middle layers of management and ICs too.

Pros

Great CEO and founders Good culture, people are extremely friendly and there are lots of events that are always a lot of fun GREAT benefits. 401k, health/vision, 3 meals a day, unlimited vacation

Cons

Not much direction for future roles Management lacking in team moral Wage is lower than industry standard (this is balanced out when you consider all the perks)

Amazing place to work

Pros

You get to work with some of the most talented people you will ever meet. Salary, bonuses and general benefits are great. The sales team itself is young and very ambitious which means everyone pushes each other to be better but everyone is very supportive if you need help. The one thing I definitely get though is that everyone from sales, product, marketing, engineering, design, management and everywhere else within the company are laser focused on scaling and scaling quick which is very exciting.

Cons

Like any startup they're still figuring out some of their processes which I can understand could be daunting if you came from a large company used to every process being in place. The exciting thing about that though is that you can help shape those processes.
