Pros

Remote Work Employee Stock Purchase Plan 5% 401K Match

Cons

JHA doesn't reward loyalty, Be prepared to move positions or companies every year or 2 if you want your salary to keep up with inflation. Technical positions all require a lot of on call, some are worse than others but be prepared to work outside of work hours.

Thanks for taking the time to share insights on your associate experience. We appreciate your many years of service and your candid feedback. A lot has changed in the 47 years we’ve been in business, but several things haven’t. We believe that business is about relationships, and we strive to always put our people first. We also seek to foster a workplace where every associate feels a sense of belonging and feels valued. We understand last year was a little more challenging than others, and we’re saddened to hear your experience has not been as positive lately. If you have specific suggestions for improvement or if we can support you, we encourage you to share them with your direct leader, HR Business Partner, or email us directly at humanresources@jackhenry.com. We always want to improve and are committed to creating a positive and rewarding work environment for everyone.

Pros

The only pro I can truly think of is that it is remote work.

Cons

The cons no sick days , there new point system is just as bad as the old one. Points stay for 12 months ! I’ve never worked at a company were points were kept more then 90 days. It’s sickening how they let there cardholders speak to you and you are not allowed to hang up doesn’t matter if it’s racial slurs, threats or attacking you personally. They don’t care about your mental health. I was a top employee and got sick and was discarded like trash on the bottom of their shoe it’s sickening. They pay does not reflect the ammout of work you will do it’s between $15-17 and does not align with other fraud center pay. Which is between $19-25 starting out.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts about working at Jack Henry. We’re saddened to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. What you’ve described does not align with our core values nor our guiding principles. We have shared your feedback with the Contact Center leadership team, including your insight on the points system. Associates are the cornerstone of our organization, and we do all we can to provide a safe, enjoyable work environment where everyone feels they belong and are valued. Our leadership team has zero tolerance for abusive callers, and we have strong processes in place to escalate those calls and protect our team members. We strive to partner with each customer care team member to help guide and assist with work-life balance, including time off. The health and well-being of associates is a key priority for us. We offer an employee assistance program, available to all associates and their household members for free, which includes mental health services and support. We wish you the best in your career.

Pros

Benefits Work life balance if you're not in a development role or a new product team Great place to get in the 5-10 year retirement glide path

Cons

For technologists this organization is a rare blend of arrogance and ignorance. They scoff at current solutions and processes. They may use the buzz words but don't know what they mean, let alone how to implement. When they roll something out with modern technology they fail for the better part of a decade. Speaking of a decade that's when you can plan on getting promoted, no matter what you accomplish. The technology, processes and solution paradigms are so old that your market value will start decreasing the minute you start here. Welcome back to the 90's. The reason they rank high in employer surveys is because none of them are anonymous. If you critique the leadership or the company you will be talking to someone.
