Work from home. Depending on the state, you are being licensed for, it may be easier than other kinds of licenses. they downplay this part and say that everything will be fine but they are not on top of it and their contractors are unreliable to help communicate. On my last day there they left the door open in case I wanted to apply in the future which is a positive.

I have been with Kin Insurance for close to 2 years now. Before Kin, I was a full-time student working at a full-time restaurant working long hours. During the peak of the pandemic, I had lost my job and had nowhere to go. A good friend suggested to look into Insurance and recommended I apply to Kin Insurance. Never had an insurance background prior to this. After studying for a few months I went ahead and applied. I was not expecting to get hired but after several interviews that went all very smoothly, I got the job. Since then I have been very happy with the company and the industry all in all. The company continues to grow, adapt, and makes us feel at home. As an insurance agent I get to work from home, my schedule is very flexible, very easy to communicate with colleagues and higher ups, great pay and overall I clock out happy and satisfied with my job. Kin Insurance does an excellent job when it comes to customer service, expanding to newer states smoothly and communications. If someone were to tell me I would be an insurance agent hired during a pandemic, I would sit down and laugh hysterically! I feel very grateful and lucky to be working for Kin Insurance and I look forward to working with the company for quite some time.

I have been an agent for several years and then came to Kin, and am very happy with working here. Great salary, very fair commission, very accommodating and reasonable management and a solid work life balance to top it off. The rates are typically very reasonable and our claims process is very simple too.
