Pros

Opportunity to work in sports, the company provides valuable sales tools and resources, worked with great teammates on property

Cons

At the time, actual new business commissionable revenue = new sales - attrition; company assigned hidden internal hard cost to assets in deals, the national sales team has the ability to reserve/withhold all high-value prospects regardless of location

Pros

New CEO has company on the right track to evolving. There is also an earnest effort to address DEI issues.

Cons

Still remnants of the "Old Boys Club," though efforts being made to change. Progress being made.

Pros

Starting salary for a sales role is very competitive. Nationwide job opportunities Ridiculous resources, especially in the digital, marketing, research sales support areas Logical management structure with VPs who are not stretched thin and have groupings of schools that make sense together (ACC schools, Group of 5 schools, major properties, etc..)

Cons

The job is VERY dependent on a competent GM. I've had two very different experiences entirely dictated by the quality of the properties' general manager. Sometimes it feels like a number of resources only apply to some of the biggest properties, so you can have moment of feeling left out if you aren't at one of the big boys National dollars are a major priority for the company so if you aren't in a major market, you'd never sniff that money
