Pros

Some coworkers are great to work with, but most have left or are planning on leaving soon. Unlimited PTO was a nice perk. I learned a lot in a short amount of time.

Cons

Majority of time is spent fighting fires. Quality issues pop up on almost a daily basis. When one is resolved, another takes its place. Nobody wants to take the time to actually fix the things causing repeat issues. Product quality is severely lacking. The company keeps spending money on acquiring new products instead of fixing what they have. PTO is not respected. I never had a day off that wasn't interrupted by someone from work demanding something. I was pressured into taking my laptop on vacation and was reprimanded by my boss when I refused. Employee turnover is HIGH and everyone is burning out. Entire departments have dissolved under toxic leadership. One particular manager in the C-Suite has practically destroyed the company from within since they started due to their toxic micromanagement and poor decisions. The pay is low and I only got measly 3% raises every year. After working there a few years, I found out new hires in the position below mine were making significantly more than me. I asked for a raise to match new hires, and was met with a significantly lower counteroffer. I resigned within a month.

Pros

remote work environment and "unlimited" vacation days

Cons

Laborie hasn't hit their revenue and/or profitability targets in at least 3 years. C-suite is a group think style since they all used to work together at Smith and Nephew. Everyone fears the CEO and no one tells him what he needs to hear. CEO mandates price increases annually even if cost of goods has not increased. This helps cover up for the less than stellar performance of the sales team. Turnover is massve, especially in sales, and morale is quite horrible. Positions for new headcount get approved, posted online and then never allowed to actually fill due to poor financial performance. All expenses are heavily scruitinized and monitored due to poor financial performance. Travel is only allowed for seeing customers. All decisions are made by what's best for the profits, not the patients.
