Huge volume of calls for Arabic interpreters (average of 25 calls per day which are a lot of calls for interpreting, your brain will melt)

Flexible hours but no growth or benefits

Pros

Work from home, as self-employed means you get to choose your working hours as they cannot legally force you to work certain hours.

Cons

no benefits, stagnant rates, no opportunity for growth. I suggest you divert you career choice to something else completely as you do not feel valued as an interpreter even though you as an interpreter are the pillar of foundation for their company.
