Pros
The owners genuinely care about their employees. They have chosen some fantastic leaders that were promoted from within, and hired outside talent with strong leadership skills. Company expectations for performance are high. While the scathing one star review makes it seem like great employees are routinely fired, LegitScript respects the privacy of employees and performance issues are kept between employees and their manager. Dog-friendly office. Many cute pooches to pet. Barista making coffee for the office. Transportation benefits. Snacks. Catered lunches every other Friday. Opportunity to grow for those who are motivated and show they can perform the job they were hired for and are willing to take on additional responsibility. Company has made an effort to improve work life balance for leads and seniors by spreading ownership of tasks more broadly across programs, which also allows newer analysts to grow in those roles. Feedback is listened to and acted on, even if it takes time. The work is interesting, rewarding, and occasionally hilarious.
Cons
Pay starts low for analysts and with such rapid growth it would be nice to attract more experienced talent by offering higher pay and asking for more relevant experience. Career path and roles are not clearly defined in many new programs.
