Dogs in office, in-house barista, lots of smart women employees (just not in the executive suite), central Portland location, company makes the internet safer

Cons

Company sold to private equity firm and subsequently mistreatment of employees that is typical of investor take-overs followed. The COO and CFO, placed by the investors, are not competent leaders, and mostly function as investor puppets. The entire executive suite chooses to ignore basic employment laws and HR policies on a regular basis. Most of the analyst positions are underpaid. I was fired in an unreasonable and unprofessional manner, and apparently that happens frequently.

A mission you can get behind (safer internet and payment world). Smart co-workers. Not boring. Once you get the skill set it is pretty cool. You get to work with a lot of leading companies like Google and Facebook.

Cons

Training isn't easy. Parking, if you drive, is a challenge.

LegitScript is a fantastic employer for bright and motivated workers from diverse and varied backgrounds. The work is engaging, challenging, and never boring. The culture is welcoming, respectful, and there are lots of great quality-of-life perks. Many of us genuinely look forward to coming to work every day and devoting our lives to a cause that matters.

Cons

LegitScript is a young and quickly growing company. This is part of what makes it so exciting, but it can also mean that sometimes changes are confusing to employees and certain things lack clarity.
