The backline support team has a disturbing sense of entitlement and are extremely rude to the point of dehumanizing people on “lower” teams. Pay is on the low end but the benefits are good. You can find better total comp elsewhere. Some people are so incompetent you wonder how they were hired in the first place or are still employed.

This was a great company that cared about its employees….until it didn’t. A few years ago, the company brought in a new CTO, who decided that a Quality Management Systems company did NOT need a QA dept. You read that correctly. The responsibility fell to us developers, who are not experienced in QA testing. As a result, release quality dropped significantly, but still the CTO stood his ground. I have no idea if this guy is still employed there, but I would sincerely hope not. He has zero business being in that role as he does not understand nor appreciate what a “quality-based organization” truly means. Absolutely inexcusable and the rapid and severe decline in quality is a direct reflection of his terrible decision making.
