Pros

-Great coworkers and supervisors -Great PTO and Sick Leave rates

Cons

-Out of touch senior management -Mandatory back to office requirements after working from home for over 1 year without issue -For staff that travel, they are expected to use their own personal credit cards. -Expense reports take too long to process so you are constantly waiting to get reimbursed -The $5,000 travel bonus has been removed as of June 1, 2023. Countless amount of implementation staff relied on these bonuses so we don't have to live paycheck to paycheck. But apparently MEDITECH does not care if they have struggling staff who live in the Greater Boston area (currently ranked #2 most Expensive city in the U.S. for a 1 bedroom apartment) Overall, MEDITECH does not care about paying their staff correctly during times of inflation. MEDITECH does not care if they have Boston staff who are working hard but don't receive proper compensation for the Boston area. MEDITECH boasts about how well their numbers are, but the annual bonus and removal of travel stipends/bonus does not reflect that. MEDITECH is actively self destructing from within and upper management appears to not care at all.

Pros

As so many others have said there isnt much left here the lack of pros is getting really really bad. i think all thats left is coworkers and lower management theyre good people trying hard for a company not trying hard in response.

Cons

if you thrive on micromanagement, lack of trust, lack of vision and communication, steadily decreasing benefits, no promotion or advancement opportunity, and the worst salary range in the industry, then this company is for you. i dont need to repeat what everyone else has already said, you can read the loooooooong list of negative reviews on this site. but, the appalling, APALLING lack of trust needs to be called out on this company. first, in the middle of a conflict with global implications and rising gas prices, after we already proved we can work perfectly well from home, this company continues to require us to come into the office. there is NO POINT most of us have groups now spread out so far anyway we dont even see our coworkers in the office. its pointless. meditech could instantly help reduce gasoline demand in the country and do their part by letting us work at home. so, how do they make it better? they institute time machine, or now insight (like thats an improvement) to track, i kid you not, every minute of your workday. thats right, micromanagement hub central folks. in 15 minute blocks, every. single. minute. of your day. oh, and you cant log the time it takes to log your time in time machine. that would just be crazy. third strike? they are now doing background checks. now, companies do background checks on new hires all the time, totally understandable. but not meditech. theyre doing it on new hires AND EXISTING EMPLOYEES. worked here for 30 years without incident? well, we still need to know all about your history. don't like it? you're fired. oh, and they tell us "only necessary staff will see these results" - name the staff MEDITECH. tell us exactly who, by name, is going to see this information. or just, you know, dont do it at all. and no, i dont have anything to hide im not scared of the results of this background check one bit, its the idea that a company so deep in the weeds on low morale, people leaving by the hundreds, etc. would think this is a good idea. for gods sake, sell the company please, to ANY OTHER TECH COMPANY. if you refuse to do that, please replace the CEO with the current COO. its sickening looking up long standing, excellent coworkers in trax just to find that they left. by the dozens. literally everyone ive talked to is at least looking at other opportunities or considering leaving. they need to do something, immediately, and for the love of god STOP doing things to erode trust and loyalty. this is like, business 101 meditech. wake up.

Pros

The people I work with are great. They’re all doing their best

Cons

I am often making up for shortcomings with training new hires or taking on responsibilities from people (frequently) quitting or retiring. It’s often unclear who knows what with regards to our processes and norms. When we suggest ways to improve these situations, we are told that upper management doesn’t see the value. So we just trudge along until someone makes a mistake that makes a customer mad enough to insist on a fix. All those other reviews on here about how the raises are bad? They are even worse this year (not even keeping up with cost of living increases). We have to be in the office even more than in previous years - the nearest office to me is different from the nearest office from the rest of my team, so now I spend even more time driving to an office to sit around with nobody I need to interact with
