Pros

Luckily I have good team and matrix manager. Work-life balance.

Cons

It was a great company before the merge, inContact was the best company ive ever worked for. But the acquisition happened, former CEO Paul Jarman left and it instantly become the worst, perks and other incentives were gone along with Paul. Forcing people and threatening to work in the office 2x a week is sick, telling us that we will be terminated if we dont comply. Even we're in vacation we have to badge in, this is a joke. Like a power tripping company now. Salary is below average, no inventives for milestones. Company outings were gone. We pay for our own trip or events.

Pros

I had a great team and great manager PTO is generous

Cons

- they don’t pay the industry rate (34% less in sales) - healthcare sucks - internal hires only get a 15% pay raise so - - you will get paid less then everyone else 2023, you are getting paid about 15% less then 2022 - executive team doesn’t know what they are doing - the company is ruining relationships with partners and we are hard to work with - they keep threatening about having you go into the office more and more. Feels like micromanaging - just don’t work here, all of the good leaders have left the company and this company is VERY dysfunctional - they will pay external hires more than internal hires who are promoted - no career growth and why would you want to grow here is NICE is just going to kill the business. - they don’t care about their people

Pros

Competitive Salary Plenty of work. Co-workers were some of the most knowledgeable I've ever been around, with some of the engineers being in the same role for 20+ years. Above average benefits.

Cons

Management sets metrics and KPI's based off of how much work the senior engineers that have been with the company for decades are able to accomplish on a weekly basis. These metrics are NOT attainable on a consistent basis for the newer engineers (less than 5 years experience). Management seems to take the side of R&D and Technical Account Managers anytime there is a conflict between these departments and ours. I was terminated out of the blue. No warning, no write-ups. They essentially said that I wasn't good enough and shut my system down within 30 seconds of termination.
