Hard-working community of people Sustainability focused

Cons

The HR department has a high turnover rate. They falsely advertise competitive wages. Bonuses are not guaranteed. Long hours for little reward or falsely promised rewards in the future. Management and Leadership are not on the same page. Uneducated managers are making uneducated decisions on salaries.

Great people come to On and work incredibly hard to build a very cool product

Cons

Legacy employees get clear preferential treatment. Leadership talks behind people’s backs while pretending it’s a flat, open culture — it’s actually bureaucratic and cliquey. HR leadership copies consulting frameworks (Bain/McKinsey style) and pushes buzzwords like "Radical Candor," "strat house," and "9-box" without substance or genuine respect for people. Feedback culture is performative — people avoid honest feedback for fear of retaliation. Lots of people in leadership roles with no idea what they’re doing. Most people are doing 7-9 jobs at the same time. Zurich leadership takes major legal risks in North America that should concern any HR/compliance pro.
