Pros

PROS cares for is employees, lots of recharge days and other perks. Pay and Bonus and opportunity to work with some very smart people

Cons

The org structure needs a re-org. It is too management heavy and very less people to do the actual work. The first 1 year was good by the second year PROS hired more Managers and some of them clearly do not fit the culture the company was trying to propagate. One Director openly stated in team meetings that he does not want to work with women, although I am not a women myself I was appalled to hear this. That clearly shows there is no room for women in the company. HR or VPs are aware but no action is taken. Teams are structured in such a way that it is too political and no work can be done without resistance. Each VP, Director has carved their own little kingdoms and find joy in reigning it. It is all a big ego trip. If I wasn't on a visa I would have left earlier. Management will keep promoting themselves while employee gets worked to death.

Pros

At Pros you will work with some of the smartest people you ever worked with. Employees care about each other and are willing to help each other.

Cons

The Anonymous and Five Guys reviews are spot on! Employees are encouraged to write positive reviews. There is an in group of people. Most of them can do no wrong and they get promoted regardless of competence. The CHRO knows nothing about hr. Newcomers can fit in with regular employees but breaking into the in group is impossible, unless one of them brought you in or you cave to their way.

Pros

A huge portion of the company's expenditure goes toward professional services, where you can find folks from all walks of life with below average pays working nights &weekends to "configure" their proprietary software - thanks to product failures and demanding customers. To get rid of this portion of expenditure, management has tried for years to develop "industrial templates" that can be implemented for new customers seamlessly, so they don't have to keep 4-7 resources per customer project...

Cons

Unfortunately, this hasn't been achieved, and it is the same people who've failed time after time that is in charge of this effort again this year, it is also the same group of people who failed to sell our CPQ to Microsoft after spending $$$$$$$ on marketing, wouldn't it be nice to give some of that money to your hard-working employees who sacrificed so much to keep the projects in shape?
