Pros

Flexible schedule Very Rewarding Work

Cons

Over worked and underpaid and under appreciated. No real room for growth. If you are successful they will make sure to restructure your incentives to make them impossible to obtain. So instead of rewarding hard work they punish it in a way. The upper management doesn’t care about those in the clinics and doesn’t understand what happens inside them.

Pros

This company is great if you are a new graduate, don't want to spend any time with your family, and enjoy drinking cool aid and providing "evidence-based" treatment.

Cons

Values: This company does not believe in work life balance and blatantly discriminates against women and older clinicians. "Education": They hold company-run "evidence-based" trainings, which teach a method of treatment that has not been validated by reliable research methods. They do not value experience or clinical reasoning developed through experience or methods other than their own models. They will give you free CEUs but will not support you if you want to get training outside of the classes they offer. Pay: They pay poorly and choose to only hire new graduates so that they do not have to pay very much. While they are a now enormous company, they do not offer any 401 match. This company buys out departments from hospitals regularly and they will say they are keeping your pay the same, but will then gradually force you to work more hours/days, see more patients, and do more unnecessary bureaucratic processes on a salaried rate, which makes your overall pay rate significantly less. Culture: This culture is great if you want to hang out in a clinic, spin around on a stool, and blindly follow a method of treatment with no research behind it. Please, if you are a new graduate, work somewhere where there is a director or at least another clinician who has been in PT for more than 5 minutes. These types of companies are taking over the PT landscape and they do not value the experience and leadership of our older colleagues. When I was a young clinician and I had the opportunity to work with seasoned pros when I graduated. They are the ones that will teach you how to care for your patients and how to problem solve. When you enter a PTS clinic, you will probably note that everyone looks like they are 24. This is a problem.

PT Solutions Physical Therapy Response

At PT Solutions, we pride ourselves on our evidence-based practice ranking in the top 24th percentile nationally for patient outcomes and scoring 99.31% in patient satisfaction. We are committed to research and design all education courses with this in mind before having courses credentialed and approved for CEU credit by the governing state bodies. Not only are all our courses heavily evidence based, our clinical mentorship program and APTA-accredited residency programs are as well. We are also working to add to our body of research and have been published in many respected peer-reviewed journals. In our 16 years of practice, we’ve found that clinical excellence knows no age and we are proud to have leaders of all ages and genders. We are also extremely proud of our hospital partnerships but understand that the transition and integration for team members can often be difficult to navigate. While we aim to maintain availability to our patients, this can include expanded hours and schedule adjustments. We are disappointed to hear that your time with us was anything less than great but thank you for taking time to write us this honest assessment. We value all feedback as it helps us grow and offer better experiences for future employees. If you would like to tell us more about your specific experience, please email us at feedback@ptsolutions.com.

Pros

The patients are nice and that is the only pro.

Cons

This is the most overworked and underpaid job I have EVER worked in my life! They are manipulating, micromanaging and extremely condescending. God forbid you can't get every single task done every day, then they try to coach you and make you feel like YOUR the problem-incapable and not good enough. The whole company is unorganized and there is zero communication. I got hired on and was supposed to start work on a specific day yet nobody could tell me which location they put me at (since they kept switching it) or tell me what time to be there! I had to go down to my location to introduce myself to my new manager because he couldn't take two seconds to email or call me to tell me his name or to say welcome. There's all this promise of earning monthly bonuses yet the numbers you have to reach are completely unrealistic, so you never get your bonus. They tell you to manipulate your lunch hours so that you don't accrue any overtime even though your mostly still working through your lunch because there is always patients or customers. That or you get to enjoy your lunch during and unpaid meeting. You do the work of at least 3 people yet barely make $29k a year. No raises either. Oh and they are so focused on the aesthetics and the "look" of the company that they don't care about how much more difficult they make things for you. Have suggestions to create a better work flow? FORGET IT you do things their way and their way only. By far the worst company I have ever worked for.
