Pros

They constantly ask how happy we are, what they can do to make our experience here a good one. There are a lot of internal promotions. You get a chance to try new things.

Cons

Overall it's a great place to work. Growing very fast, which can be a bit chaotic.

Pros

The company's pretty solid and they're good about paying on time. The future doesn't look too shabby, though the product isn't as hot as it used to be, and we're not really pulling in more customers. Depending on your location, some of the offices are downright impressive. In certain spots, the vibe is really great and the people you work with are a good bunch. But, you know, the pay isn't quite what you'd expect in the tech world, and over in Customer Success, we're always swamped. The workload just keeps piling up. As for moving up the ladder, those chances are pretty much gone. A lot of my coworkers are heading out the door. The company's policy is to match what everyone else pays in the industry while trying to increase the market share.

Cons

In our Customer Success department here at Pipedrive, we've been hit hard with layoffs and restructurings for the past six months. Honestly, it's best to avoid this area and the wider Customer organization given all the chaos. Across Pipedrive as a whole, there's a real issue with how management plans, communicates, and follows through. This lack of clear communication has caused a bunch of problems company-wide, including a major HR mess. The way layoffs are managed is just not up to par, with HR seeming more worried about leaks to the press than being straight with us or showing any real concern for those getting the axe. When we've given negative feedback about our top brass, it's been brushed off — they think we're just griping and not appreciating a good company. Then you've got HR constantly talking up how great Pipedrive is, leading folks to settle for lower pay. Ignoring our input like this is really frustrating. It feels like they're more focused on making things look good than on making actual improvements, especially with all this talk about a sale that would mainly benefit a few higher-ups with stock options. Our top leader in the COO's team even made us all join these meetings, cameras on, to fill out the same internal survey for the third time in a year. Predictably, nothing much has come from these surveys. We're still dealing with a terrible eNPS score and a bunch of promises from senior management that haven't been kept. Trust and empowerment are at an all-time low in the company. Sometimes, it feels like we're treated more like kids to be disciplined than as professional partners. To top it off, they've totally messed up our system for annual performance reviews. Everyone's just marked as meeting expectations, so they don't have to bump up our salaries. That's a real downer.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, fellow Pipedriver. We’re happy to learn that you enjoy our office culture and the team camaraderie you’ve experienced at Pipedrive so far. To your point about recent changes within our customer-facing teams, it’s important to remember that evolution is central to ensuring we best serve as many small businesses as possible across the globe, while simultaneously providing a best-in-class experience. And while these changes sometimes include certain roles no longer being needed, they also bring about great opportunities, such as the five promotions awarded to Customer Success colleagues in the past month in the US. It’s also important to clarify that, for the 2023 annual performance cycle, performance ratings did not drive decisions about employee salary increases. We undertook multiple calibration sessions to remove any bias or discrepancies from the performance review process – we pride ourselves on this process being a fair way to recognise performance. Salary increases for 2024 were decided based upon local inflation rates and benchmarking using our trusted advisor, Willis Towers Watson. If you’re open to discussing these matters further, please reach out to your People Partner. Thank you once again for your feedback!

Horrible Leadership

Pros

Co-workers (although most of the great ones have left)

Cons

Executive management has no clue what they're doing. There is a reason turnover at the leadership level is so rampant.

Our customers are at the heart of what we do, and our vision to be the best CRM for small business remains our north star.
