Pros

The Activities Director, Danielle does her very best to keep the residents engaged and entertained. She is the only member of administration that is worth anything.

Cons

it is a PERSONAL CARE FACILITY but Jessica (executive director) and Angela (sales) have the motto "heads in beds!!!!", so there are hospice residents, skilled care residents, and dementia residents. Important to note that this facility is not a lock down facility and only the front doors lock, and that's only to the outside. They lie and say they are equipped to handle bedbound residents, which in the literal sense of the word, they can. But anybody who is bedbound, well..... the only time they leave that bed is when they die.

Pros

Pay is fair They love you if you drink with them or are a long lost former friend.

Cons

The owners and COO have no clue on how to run this operation, they have a history of running places in the ground. You are micromanaged to the point you wonder why you are doing the job, rather than them. They have no care for the seniors, they just want census growth even when they lack the staff to care for the growth. Staff are not trained to do the job they are hired to do. There were serious concerns brought forward regarding a community that was struggling to provide a safe place for the residents to live. Residents were not being fed or bathed. Rather than address the concern to improve the situation, the owners wife just said to HR, “I just want the place (F) Full, I don’t care about the rest, just get people in there! Regionals have to lie or withhold information from the owners of the buildings they manage, They will tell you what to say. If the owners only knew, they wouldn’t hire PLC to be their management company. Growing census should not be the 1st priority, the 1st priority should be a well trained team to ensure proper care.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take concerns about resident care, staffing, training, and leadership very seriously, and we are troubled by what you’ve described. Providing a safe, compassionate, and well-supported environment for residents must always be our top priority, and we recognize that when teams feel unheard or unsupported, it impacts everyone. Your perspective reinforces the importance of strong communication, meaningful training, accountability, and leadership that stays connected to day-to-day operations. While census growth is one part of sustainability, it should never outweigh quality care or the well-being of residents and staff. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience and suggestions, and we are committed to continued reflection and improvement so our communities truly live out their mission every day.
