      Friendly atmosphere. New company so one can find their niche. Great for self-starters

      Cons

      Can be chaotic at times, but it a fun challenging way.

      Pros

      Interesting work, excellent engineering director, low-pressure environment, and good workplace location in downtown Redwood City.

      Cons

      Mediocre benefits, mediocre salary, a pervasive atmosphere of workplace "frugality" that was downright embarrassing in some cases, and a lapse of 3 short months between a hiring boom and a hiring freeze. Worst of all, the CEO was away for a prolonged period over the summer; when he returned, he made abrupt and major changes in direction, which indicated to me that he didn't really trust the decisions of the management team he left in place while he was out.

      Pros

      Good training in reputation management. Co-workers are fun and talented.

      Cons

      Management in flux. No one seems to know what is going on within departments. Lack of communication can be crippling when dealing with time sensitive issues and customers. Basic rule seems to be just 'make the sale' and hope for the best later. Company feels like a first year start up rather than an established 8 year old company.
