Pros

- The company has the feel of a Silicon Valley startup, in that people are engaged with their work; - The company has received enough funding to be stable and run like a "professional" business; - The compay is more "mature" than some other startups (there is an air hockey table and dogs are welcome at work, but the company feels like a real business); - If you speak up, your growth potential is unlimited; - Pet-friendly, fun workspace; - Interesting combination of engineering, social networking, journalism, and other fields; - Great diverse workforce that brings unique perspectives to problems; - Equity potential.

Cons

- If you don't speak up with your ideas and feedback, it will be tough to advance -- everyone is too busy to stop and ask you, but they listen if you tell them; - Priorities sometimes shift, so you need to be flexible in your work; people are often assigned to different roles as the company grows; - High standards can be demanding; this isn't a job you can "phone-in".

Pros

For the most part, the schedule is pretty fluid, come in late, work late--come in early, leave early. There are a few decent people working here worth knowing. Lunch is provided a few times a week on the company, and the kitchen is usually stocked with some decent snacks.

Cons

The office has a horribly unfriendly vibe. People will regularly pass you in the hallways without so much as putting on a friendly face. Secrecy is big around the office, ideas and changes are not shared with any of the lower level workers. You can work for well over a year here without any feedback about your work. Management is untrustworthy, and will spread an employees personal details around the office. Promotions are a matter of favoritism, and not based on hard work or seniority . Management changes and shifts so often, that it seems no one really has a good understanding of an individuals contributions to the company. Acknowledgment and praise is given to sales, customer service, and sometimes engineering, but is never directed towards any of the fulfillment team (the ones actually working to improve a customers online image). ReputationDefender will make cuts wherever they can to save a dime, which results in a subpar service provided to paying customers.

Pros

Management has a mission to change the way that people protect their reputation and privacy online. This sense of purpose (and the company's recent and fast growth) makes for an exciting office. It's a pet-friendly office with two dogs and a lizard, a platoon of Woot.com flying monkeys, and other tech tomfoolery. An older review mentioned benefits -- the company just instituted a 401k and improved transit benefits. I'm very satisfied.

Cons

Management's vision comes with the price of high expectations. Feedback can be a bit irregular at times, and vary between overly-nice and overly-frank.
