Pros

1)Learn a language at work-you have access to all 31 languages at work and at home. 2) Flexible part-time hours-shifts are 5-6 hours long at malls and may be longer at airports- up to 9 hours. 3)Meet interesting people-people who are interested in learning a language come from all walks of life, and it's fun to talk to them. 4) Work on your people skills-again, you will very diverse people, and you will have great conversations with some, figure out how to get others to like you and figure out how to like others. 5) Potential to earn lot of money-at times I averaged $40 an hour for the two week pay period. 6) The product sells itself-truly amazing software, you will hardly have to make an effort to sell it. 7) Little supervision-most of the time, you are there by yourself, so you do not have someone breathing down your neck.

Cons

1) Awful management-The managers that work there are not there to help their associates succeed, they are there to make the schedule, get yelled at by their manager if one of their associates scores badly on a secret shop, and do whatever it takes to keep their job. 2) No cohesion-it doesn't feel like you are part of a team, 3) Every man(or woman) for himself(herself)-people will throw you under the bus, expect it, feels like everyone is against everyone, from corporate office sales support against kiosk sales manager, to regional manager against sales associate. 4) The mad focus on sell, sell, sell, is great, but there is a disconnect between the goals and implementation because the people lack basic customer service skills, and of course sales skills.
