Pros

Very rewarding helping others find healing for their mental health concerns. Colleagues are always incredibly helpful and caring, making the atmosphere wonderful to work in.

Cons

Can be emotionally draining at times when you are dealing with distraught patients or patients in crisis. Taking between 75-100 calls in a day can be very repetitive and draining as well.

Pros

The managers at my location were great, most of my fellow support staff workers were also quality people and generally looked out for one another.

Cons

The job is very fast paced, and often stressful. Some days I felt unable to get everything done that was required of me in my shift.

Thank you for your review. We are very happy to hear that you felt that your direct supervisors were "great" and that you felt a good sense of camaraderie at the office amongst your coworkers. That is our ultimate goal. We agree that the job can be stressful at times, and we do our best to provide our support staff with as many resources and avenues to help make their jobs as easy and as satisfying as possible. We can't control everything, but we try our best to make it the best and rewarding experience as possible. We are open to ideas too so if you have any, please feel free to contact me. Patient care is our top priority as opposed to "maximizing the number of patients seen." While this is the case, we are a very busy clinic so we do have many appointments with patients scheduled each day. Thank you for your review.

Pros

A lot of office staff support for billing, scheduling, and documentation. Positive, friendly environment. Flexible hours.

Cons

PTO benefits and compensation could be improved. Clients can not leave a direct message for therapists, and "phone tag" can be a significant challenge.

We also appreciate you making mention that you have the opportunity to create your own schedule and make adjustments to your schedule based on your lifestyle. We give our clinicians a lot of autonomy with their schedules and support them when they need to make adjustments. Also happy to hear that you appreciate the "positive, friendly environment." We are always evaluating the benefits and compensation we offer to our employees and will take your feedback in mind.
