Pros

Benefits are good. Building is clean. No key card required. Lunch room with lots of free coffee. Plenty of parking.

Cons

Two distinct company cultures. Depending on your department, there may be NO additional onboarding or training after HR's high-level orientation. (You're on your own, and good luck with that.) "Gotcha" security policies and training. (Who does that??) Zero sense of work-life balance. Inconsistent or redundant processes/procedures. Inconsistent application of WFH policies. Managers are impatient when it comes to questions or mistakes, even with new-hires. They rely a lot on you having and using a personal cellphone (for getting inside, logging in remotely, etc.) Disengaged leadership. Bizarre, cult-like organization.

Thanks for your candid and descriptive feedback. While we don’t always hit the mark perfectly, we recognize that several of the challenges cited needed to be addressed and changes/improvements were already in process. Some comments seemed conflicted such as how our management leadership team could be both “disengaged” and “too hands-on all the time”. Logically we could understand it if was one or the other, but not both. We intend for Sentinel to be a hands on company and we pride ourselves on having an open-door policy which was available to you to help create change. With so many ideas for improvement, we hope you shared those specifics with your manager while you were a team member here. While we strive to create an inclusive environment for everyone, we recognize that our culture may not be a fit for everyone. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.
