Thank you for your review. Please know that Sentinel strives to maintain equitable pay rates in line with industry standards by conducting a regularly scheduled pay equity analysis and periodic market analysis. We also take continuous action to ensure employees have a great work/life balance. Achieving this is a collective effort, and it is our priority to help employees maintain a happy, motivated, and productive work experience. We encourage our employees to set boundaries by prioritizing tasks, scheduling breaks, taking vacations, and unplugging regularly. We provide a wellness program with work/life balance resources and have an open-door policy where any employee can provide feedback to leaders. That said, our employee experience portal provides all employees with the opportunity to confidentially report any challenges or ideas to leadership.

Pros

The IT industry is ever changing and the company encourages (and is often able to provide/accommodate training and certifications). Wide range of skillsets and personalities are welcome. Often leadership is willing to be engaged with the customer alongside typical employees, such as Help Desk and Customer Service, to ensure satisfaction and that no one is left entirely unprepared to satisfy the customer.

Cons

The night shifts often leave employees without direct access to leadership, especially if their direct manager is on vacation. Promotions are difficult to come by, per hearsay. Often your shift needs to be filled before you can move out of your current/prior role.
