Pros

Fair compensation and benefits. Worked with some great people.

Cons

Culture is very much 'drink the kool aid or else'. I would say it's a good place to work as long as you do what you're told and don't ask questions. Questioning the 'SEI Way' will not get you anywhere. Everything felt very rehearsed and forced at corporate office... like they were still trying to convince me this was such a great place to work. The messaging felt so arrogant from the top down... We're the best: company, CEO, Mgmt, etc. nothing more than our opinion of ourselves.. Good people, just the arrogance of how they constantly talked about themselves clouded the message for me. I'm sure there are employees being encouraged to go on here and say it's the greatest place in the world to work and there are no negatives. Please ask questions before you join this cookie-cutter company.

Pros

Work life balance was fair until SEI doubled stand by time without pay.

Cons

Lots of promises made during recruitment phase, which is way too long ( red flag), in reality very few became reality. In fact a lot of promises were down right lies, on the service side. Talk of vision is just that, when the CEO isn't around. If you are over 45, a female or minority, don't expect your effort to be appreciated, especially in Detroit!

Pros

Was a company with promise and a success story but over to cons.

Cons

A sad end with a merger with it’s larger sized and competent competitor Sales staff are leaving because of threats of jobs and no faith in our sales head who’s demonstrating pitiful behavior to keep his position focused on his image management. Aging quickly and burning bridges with mobs who have left company since last year when he came in. How many more need to leave before you activate on exiting the cause.
