Pros

1. WFH, Tax writeoffs. 2. Health Bennys are decent.

Cons

1. No raises ever, ever. 2. Rules /Policy change all the time. 3. Workload gets harder based on new business needs, and no pay raise to reflect it. Ever. 4. They will squeeze you for anything and everything. 5. Good luck trying to use your earned vacation time. Also company does not give enough vacation time per employee. No paid sick time is provided, you must use your vacation time. 6. No matching 401k, what is the point of 401k if employee doesn't match. 7. People that work out of NYC get paid the same as someone out in the sticks. Cost of living is not a factor at SDC at all. 8. They took Overtime pay on holidays away 9. They took some of our Holidays away, budgeting issues I asume. 10.They raised health insurance by more than 10%, but we still got no raises. 11. You cannot pay any real bills with what you walk away with here. Not kidding. 12. They fired 200 US based employees at the drop of a dime. 13. They outsource, even though they told us US employees they never would. 14. You used to get paid an extra 10-15% on top of you hourly. Based opn what hours you worked. They took that away also. 15 They will also force you to work Overtime when they see it fit for their needs.

Pros

Working from home. Health Benefits (though expensive for the low pay) Vacation Time (though can't even afford disneyland)

Cons

* Way below market pay. * Treated like garbage by upper management. * Treated like garbage by customers that resent owning computers. * Company touts North American phone personnel but is now moving many more operations to India including some phone support. * CEO Always makes excuses to not give raises even now that the company is profitable (at least he thanked us for making it possible). * Raises and bonuses were promised when the company started making a profit but CEO turned back on that. * No incentive for call center employees to remain with the company long term. Beware of empty promises and lies by upper management. * Quality of service and customer complaints continue to get worse due to new policies designed to reduce the amount of time spent on repairs. * Give your knowledge, expertise, life and time but get very little in return.

Pros

When the recession was hitting us hard it was nice to have a job. Pay as a PTE/SE tech was low compared to other places but higher than most entry level jobs with no degree. Mediocre benefits. Work from home.

Cons

-Company keeps placing burden of profit on their workforce unfairly. -Cut shift differential pay. -Mandatory overtime. -Have shift bids which can put you on a schedule that you hate for 6 months. -After having gone through the process for a horrible schedule, they may change it to fit their needs at a moment's notice. -Little opportunity for advancement despite their contrary claims. -Changed stance from giving raises when company is more profitable to give raises never. -Constant esoteric policy changes that no one is ever clear on, even the people who make these changes. -High turn over so you are always fixing new people's mistakes. -Very obvious and low morale among coworkers. -Dubious sales policies that makes the customers pay for things they may or may not have to which makes you feel complicit. -Dealing with outsourced departments which are staffed with some of the most incompetent people ever to touch a headset. -While there are some really great people there to have suffering along side you, a very large portion of your coworkers have the emotional intelligence of a six year old. It is like reading flame wars and trolls all day, but this is daily dialogue. -Even your direct supervisor indicates everything is chaotic and pretty all around horrible for us but just sort of shrugs his shoulders. -Receive emails from corporate executives that basically berate and devalue their workforce and basically tell them, 'well there are worse places to work for, by the way we are cutting your pay'
