Pros

Work @ home - Sadly a positive about their required tools is they don't work so that becomes a unintended break where all employees can't work. Great place to destroy your customer service skills. Your not allowed to take too long to actually help a valued customer = This is No-No - Great job for a mindless zombie that can read off prepared responses for every situation.

Cons

Upper Management and Supervisor's fired over 200 employees in a required attendance meeting with zero remorse. All PC Technicians are told to take abuse and profuse obscenity from customers and then speak scripted false empathy statements. When this was brought up to supervisors there response is maybe you would be better suited in a different job. Outsourcing has destroyed the Stock Price, Management Attitude, Employee Morale and has promoted a environment where if ya don't like it, we can pay someone overseas to do your job. Company does NOT pay for Internet costs or PC equipment - But requires a new PC and very high speed internet connections - Oh yeah.. Ask any supervisor and they will quickly tell you that a raise will Never Ever happen.

Pros

Hard to find a single pro. The paid training was good. I was one of the few lucky ones to get 1 hour between calls when they were in middle of change over. Glad the IT had

Cons

Everything after paid training. Taking calls from Boston is the worst. After enough calls from pissed off comcast customers, you just loath every call. Unless you can manage a totally fake persona stay away.

Pros

10.25, work from home. Typically your coworkers are really cool. If you do well, you get a decent schedule and money in the mail.

Cons

Where to start? Customers are terrible. Higher mangment is terrible. If you need time off? Better be prepared to fight for it. Pay is actually bad when you look at the level of support you do. You get blame for things outside your control. They change things unnecessarily. You'll quickly learn why the turnover rate is so high. Was in a training class of 27, ended with 13, and there is maybe 6 still there six months in.
