Pros

Getting to work from home is pretty much the only pro You do accrue decent PTO . . . good luck using it though

Cons

-No raises in years -Different answers from every supervisor -Constantly changing schedules with no real say which one you get -Most of the actual technical work is done in India so North American workers are left to deal with most of the mundane customer service work with irate customers -Constant policy changes, sometimes with no notice until days after the fact -Get harassed if you actually try to use your PTO -No paid holidays -Hard to move up -Have to fight to actually have your accomplishments put into your review -Get punished by management if you bring any problems to their attention

Pros

I got to work from home Periodically got early outs Not really any other pros Early on (around 2010) it was great work.

Cons

When I was hired on, my primary role was to log into peoples computers to fix them. Virus removal, diagnostics, that sort of thing. Eventually a call was put out for people with knowledge of Mac. Somehow this ended up moving me to the comcast team. I helped them develop their mac service delivery guides, and received little recognition for it. I only found out later on that in my employee records it was never noted that I did those things. The company capitulated to Comcast's demands continually even when it was not good for the company. Eventually the position devolved into purely an extension of Comcast's customer facing front lines. More of the job became de-escalating customer complaints and anger, and less about actually fixing their computer.

Pros

Work from home. Its a job. Great coworkers. Easy work. You get a wireless mose valued at $1.50 after 4 years of service.

Cons

Incompetent management, morally questionable polices, no raises to any employee in more than 4 years, no paid Holidays, very poor documentation. Each Supervisor will give a different answer. Dishonest sales tactics are used and the technicians are the ones who get the brunt of this.
