      Positive Culture at Surescripts

      Pros

      I started with Surescripts several months ago, and I have had an excellent onboarding experience. I very quickly felt like I was part of my team. The environment is professional and fast-paced, which is fun. In addition, I feel like I can be myself, and that my input is valued. Finally and perhaps most importantly, I've found Sr. Leaders to be transparent and open to discussions.

      Cons

      The industry is both complex and new to me, so it is taking me some time to come up to speed. This isn't a con but rather something to be prepared for during onboarding.

      Pros

      It has a really great culture. You can tell they care about their people and want to keep them! It is also great to work for a company with a good mission. We aren't just talking hype, we are helping people and that feels good!

      Cons

      There is a steep learning curve joining the Healthcare IT world. But everyone is so helpful and acknowledges that there is a lot to learn so they help you along.

      -Innovative company that is a pioneer in ePrescribing -Very intelligent employees -Your voice is heard and your feedback is used for decision making -Excellent work/life balance -Great pay and benefits -Frequent events for employee appreciation

      Cons

      -They still operate like a start-up in terms of their process documentation and on-boarding/training, however, they have initiatives in place to completely overhaul their internal education center
