      Zappos is a blast - but make sure that's what you want

      Pros

      The company has an incredible culture, and really loves to have fun. The posted Core Values are really lived, and the vibe is very relaxed. If you are young and single and want to have lots of chances to drink and party and enjoy the Las Vegas lifestyle most nights, it is a wonderful fit.

      Cons

      There is not a great separation between work and life. Too much partying as a whole, and you can feel isolated from the rest of the company if you don't want to drink all the time.

      Pros

      Excellent benefits! We receive fully paid benefits for the employee (health, vision, dental and life insurance) and low cost benefits for partners/spouses. We also have free vending 24/7. They fully support an open-door policy and listen to all suggestions.

      Cons

      The rate at which vacation time accrues is a bit slower than with other companies.

      Pros

      The Culture here values the individual and celebrates diversity. We are encouraged to be creative, we are supported as a"real" people and not treated as just a number. Employees here feel that they are contributing to the company's mission and success. We are fully invested in where Zappos.com will be in the future, because ultimately we are treated with respect, consideration and dignity.

      Cons

      There just aren't enough days in the work week. Most of us would work 7 days a week if we could because of the Family atmosphere and the creative energy that permeates every aspect of what we do here.
