Pros

Good employees, occasionally fun enviroment. Decent opportunities for growth. Management that understands the bulk of the extraordinary expectations.

Cons

Low pay, outrageous expectations. Stores are staffed with very few associates despite being a "guest focused" culture. Expected to work 365 days a year, a company that preaches family values while not having a single aspect of a life/work balance.

Pros

I got a lot of hours closer to the holidays

Cons

I was working there temporarily over the holidays. I knew I was a temp going into the job. However, I was not expecting the manager to call me the night of Christmas Eve telling me I was no longer needed and they weren't hiring any of the holiday employees on for part-time work. The managers have no sense of respect for their seasonal employees.

Disappointing, disingenuous, demeaning...

Pros

Payroll is typically accurate and timely.

Cons

Schedules are non-existent, last-minute, and lack integrity. Hours are cut at last minute and often without legitimate reason. Management and supervisors exhibit unprofessional behavior based on limited employee recourse. Store "Human Resource" employee is not required to have any professional HR training (contributing to the limitation on employee advocacy). Management, HR and departmental communication implies lack of basic education, general knowledge and/or skills.
