Pros

Flexible scheduling, some opportunities to advance

Cons

The training is haphazard, and often requires self initiation. The management's organization seems to be lacking, and the mangement seems to have a lack of communication amongst itself.

Pros

The team I work with are awesome. They come to work everyday wanting to work hard and do a great job. Customer interaction is enjoyable.

Cons

There is such tremendous pressure to achieve metrics, i.e. Credit Cards, Square Trades and Loyalty Cards, that most stores cheat. I have looked numerous times on the EJ journal after a store in my region has sent up an email saying how they have gotten an IC. When I look it up I see that the cashier signed on, immediately attempted an IC sign up and there is no sale associated with it, same goes for the SQT's and Rewards. If a store usually gets 1-3 IC's per week and all of a sudden they are getting 10-20 maybe the DM or higher should take a look at that store.

Pros

New CEO is really trying to improve the culture and performance and is trying to hire a new team. There is room for some great experiences if desired.

Cons

Revolving door makes it tough to form lasting relationships, the employee retention at all levels and functions is quite poor, pay and benefits are not competitive for professional positions.
