Pros

Great team environment with lots of employee engagement through social engagements, very loose atmosphere where you are generally left to your own devices and allowed to find your own pace and way to get the job done, so long as you do just that...get the job done.

Cons

Many people who thrive in a structured work environment will struggle with the blase faire management style, however for someone who is self focused and driven you should be fine

Pros

Working at dotloop has a variety of pros: the culture, the benefits, the laid back yet professional environment, and the opportunity to move up within the company. Being a "looper" you are given the tools and opportunity to grow within the company and management is more than willing to help you find your niche. Along with being able to move up within the company, the health benefits of working at dotloop are excellent as well. Benefits don't only come in your health care package at dotloop though, extra perks are always given to loopers for their hard work such as a free snack bar, a fully paid for holiday trip to Seattle, pool and ping pong tables, and a catered lunch almost every week. These extra perks let us know our hard work is appreciated and makes coming to work pretty enjoyable.

Cons

If working in support you will be expected to work one weekend day. While giving up your Saturday or Sunday isn't ideal, if a customer service representative ever needs off management is always more than willing to work with your schedule.

Pros

Training was nice, but not realistic. Provided snacks. This was especially useful on days employees forgot to pack snacks/lunches. Physical benefits were amazing.

Cons

I was not prepared to get my ear chewed off by customers. Training was unrealistic. I lost respect for the company when I found out that the squash team was "on their own". I felt like I was thrown onto the phones without proper knowledge. Management didn't care what type of call you were on or how bad you were getting yelled at, you were responsible for handling that call even though you might not have any knowledge of what the customer is asking for. That said, a lot of calls aren't terrible. But when you do get one, be prepared to handle it alone with no guidance. Like someone else had said, the office is very cliquey. I did not feel welcome. While training, I felt as though I was a burden to some.

Thank you for providing feedback about your past experience at dotloop. We take all constructive feedback seriously and have been looking closely into this recently, including surveys with all Support employees and "skip level" meetings to gather feedback without their manager present. While it's clear that the management transition in Support was not without flaws for some past employees, we have addressed each concern raised and feedback from our current team is overwhelmingly positive. Thanks again. Austin, Founder & GM
