Be weary of HR Leadership. Lots of orders barked and zero compassion. There is much favoritism and duality. If you are a favorite, you are awarded substantial raises. Other more capable members of HR fair the lesser increase. The leadership is focused to make certain their compensation is competitive, but they are aware and uncaring that much of the company is below median pay. You are viewed as ungrateful if you ask for the equivalent market rate pay they are receiving. HR encourages the "Work Where You Thrive" mentality, but some are pressured to be onsite. They have the resources, but their focus is investing everything in production and not in the people. People are easily replaced.
The other reviews are accurate. HR leadership is interested in rewarding all senior leadership for the accomplishments achieved by the staff (ie leadership is provided equity and staff is not).
They know what to say, but do not walk the talk. They will frequently ask for input from the team members who have direct and successful experience. Then they ignore the input and make simple situations very complicated because they lack the knowledge and experience on subjects. They enjoy micromanaging and believing they know everything. You are told to share your views, but if you do not agree with them be leery of repercussions.
