Pros

Location (downtown Denver, at 17th & California) Eco-Pass Full suite of solutions for the IT Channel Not micro-managed too much You get a paycheck

Cons

My hopes of working for a solid company and staying long-term were crushed by the merger with Axcient. Shortly after the merger, things began to go south with eFolder. The merger itself (which happened around July 2017) did not scare or worry me. I’ve worked for many companies ranging in type (small, mid, large, privately held (customer funded), private-equity, and public). I’ve seen large reductions in force, layoffs, and turnover. I can 100% adapt. However, the way this merger was handled was the worst I’ve ever seen. Countless C-level Executives resigning within just a couple of months. A member (or 2) from the Sales team resigning each week, and a constant on-edge feeling with horrible morale. I felt like a different piece of myself was dying each day I came to work. Axcient and the leaders from Axcient came in with complete arrogance and just down right nasty attitudes. Talk about a hostile work environment. The Sales team on the eFolder side was constantly criticized and made out to be horrible sales people. Even the good sales people were thrown into the same bucket as those that needed improvement. Comments were heard aloud in large public settings by the new CRO “polish up your resumes”. Unprofessionalism! Pipeline was lacking. Inbound leads almost non-existent, and quotas just kept rising and will likely just keep rising. If the goal was to make people quit, to avoid layoffs and having to do the dirty work, congratulations Axcient/eFolder, you succeeded. And you also lost a lot of your solid employees too.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Mergers create a variety of challenges and often create uncertainty. We strive to be as transparent as we can, even when we are unsure of how things will shake out Regardless, this feedback can help us get better at motivating our teams even when we have to make difficult decisions. We just completed an employee survey to gather more insight to improve and will incorporate your comments as well. Thanks again for taking the time to provide candid feedback!
