Pros

Easy match with contacting opportunity for quick money

Cons

Long interview process, broken promises of incentives and raise, BELAY charges client more than DOUBLE your hourly pay, and the "Client Success Consultant" is not helpful in any way.

Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. We provide a premium service to both our clients and our contractors. BELAY carefully and regularly evaluates both our prices for clients and our pay rate for our contractors and we believe in the value we provide for everyone who chooses to partner with us. Our interview process is highly intentional which is why so many people -clients and contractors alike- are drawn to BELAY. Our Contractor Services team and our Client Success Consultants are unmatched in their dedication to taking care of each of our contractors. As a BELAY contractor, you have an entire team devoted to supporting you, coaching you, helping you find quality clients, and encouraging you as you further develop your skills as a VA. Our team deeply cares about the people we get to work with and serve. BELAY is clear on its pay rate, incentives, etc. and if you feel that a mistake has been made regarding your compensation, please reach out to contractorservices@belaysolutions.com and our team would be glad to assist you. We wish you all the best moving forward.

Pros

You think they follow God

Cons

You have to be available Mon thru Fri 9 to 5, even if you only have 1 or 2 clients. Their customer care specialist change like the wind. The pay scale is ridiculous. Lilly white culture.....perhaps 2% if that multi racial. Honey if you blond blue eyes and praise the Lord willing to work for $10/hr, you'll get a job.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this review. We genuinely care about each concern you shared, and we regret you had such a negative experience. Reading through what you shared, it seems there were several misunderstandings along the way, and we are sorry for that. We do request contractors to be available for communication during the workday, but we equally encourage our contractors to leverage the freedom and flexibility that comes with a 1099 position. There are several contractors who have shared how they have found this balance over on our blog, and we encourage anyone who is curious to take a look over there. We regularly evaluate the rates we offer all of our contractors and we continue to provide competitive compensation within the market. There are no roles that earn $10 an hour at BELAY. Our incredible team in Contractor Services is passionate about serving our contractors and helping them with anything they need, and they work hard every day to support our incredible community of contractors. Equally helpful are our Client Success Consultants who work hard to support contractors in each of their engagements with our clients. When it comes to faith, race, gender, generation, etc., our contractor community is incredibly diverse and we are proud of this diverse group of people who choose to be a part of BELAY. We are also proud of the Diversity & Inclusion stance BELAY has shared in recent months, and we continue as an organization to evaluate how and where we can improve and enhance the voices of all groups within our organization. We always encourage contractors to share their concerns, ideas, and suggestions with their CSC or Contractor Services in order to prevent miscommunication and misunderstandings. Thank you, again, for sharing these thoughts. We wish you all the best moving forward.

Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

Remote work, laid back. Job does not require much training.

Cons

They watch and scrutinize every movement you make, on and off site. They'll make everything seem OK, then talk about you behind your back. Corporate training is terrible. All they seem to care about is there image and pumping that fake culture of caring down your throat. They start off every Zoom call with prayer before hitting the record button. That's cool if that's your lifestyle, and I had no problem with it, but I thought there were laws against that. Raise your hand and let your manager know if you are going to use the bathroom on Zoom meeting when upper management is on. Kindergarten micro management. They need to PRAY for more competent managers and "trainers".
