Pros
Great children to work with. Great benefits. The company is rapidly growing and they are attempting to grow smart. I think it is great that the company is able to expand and provide services for more children in need of services.
Cons
I have been asking for training assistance and guidance for a few years now. The training that is offered is getting reviewed or trained by professionals with lower credentials than a BCBA or no credentials at all. BCBAs are given large caseloads and are expected to manage them and are scored on the clinical quality of clients progress; however, when given such a large caseload, effective supervison and high quality therapy is not given. The expectations are astounding for a company that claims to be compliant with the ethical code, BACB, and delivering “high quality care”. Due to the high caseload, it is often difficult to take any time off despite the good PTO package which negatively impacts the work-life balance of its employees. Staff should also be compensated more. A 1-3% raise prorated across the year is basically an insult. It only adds up to a small amount per year, a gift card would have been less insulting.
