Pros

This is truly a place where your hard work feels like a labor of love. There is a strong sense of community within the company which ignites a passion for quality work in a team focused atmosphere. It is a company who works hard and plays hard. For those who keep up with the fast pace and the constant change, it is truly a great environment. There is always room for advancement. Since I have been here I have been able to take on 3 different positions (by choice), which have all benefited both my professional and personal development. I am now in the position I was striving for when I first began with the company. Perks, perks and perks. This company truly makes it a point to make their employees feel appreciated. This is not your typical office job. We like to have fun while we take on new challenges every day.

Cons

Some departments need a little more love. The call center could use additional help by way of talented supervisors. Everyone in the company is very close and as a new hire it may take a small period of time to settle in and feel like "part of the group," but this typically doesn't take long.

Pros

Our motto is to "take care of the customer." I'm proud that our best customers are the people who work here. Our culture rewards employees, and puts time into creating promoters of the business. This sets Build apart in my opinion. I'm incredibly proud to be a member of the team. Build is run by hardworking and dedicated people who have grown this from nothing, to a leader online home improvement space. This is a motivating space, and I really enjoy it!

Cons

We move fast, and sometimes chase all the "shiny objects." It's important for people who work here to know that they too need to be agile, and take ownership for what they do. Otherwise, this is the kind of culture you could get lost in, or get left behind.

Pros

Company makes sure they have a complete open door policy to give feedback on issues or make recommendations for improvement. Advancement opportunities are abundantly available for those who want them and are willing to put in the work. Company provides great incentives, from recruitment bonuses to free Taco Truck days, all for various reasons.

Cons

Fast paced environment doesn't allow for as much interpersonal communication as is needed.
