Pros

I worked at the company for about 4 years and had a really excellent team. Depending on the role, there is plenty of Work from Home opportunities and flexible enough with scheduling time off on a whim (again, depending on role).

Cons

- Training was rough, little to know formal training which left me, often times, under too much pressure to perform the tasks I was required to do. My manager was not on site, so I would only receive bits of training when they had time. If I had a question, theres no telling when I could get the answer I need. - Layoffs. Major layoffs, even for tenured employees. When a company is terminating employees in such large numbers you essentially have zero job security. My team was assured we were safe, but lo and behold, 25% of the team was let go, presumably to outsource the jobs to save $. - 5 Presidents over 5 years I believe its at now. That says enough on its own. -Low pay, below average but not complete bottom of the barrel. - Was acquired by Office Depot a couple years ago and since then has been a downward spiral due to poor performance and then Office Depot blaming Compucom, which in turn will result in the layoff of hundreds of employees. Its safe to assume, their next "Business Acceleration Plan" push will also involve eliminating positions. - I would only take a job here if youre in a tough spot, there are plenty of other companies who can offer you more security.

Pros

Your own desk Free food Overtime opportunities

Cons

The pay is very low and they do not give raises at all. The training is very poor. There is no knowledge for quite a few issues users call in for. People are constantly quitting. A majority of the people that start with you will quit within 6 months.

Pros

Great hard-working team, good experience, contracted to a great company

Cons

Atrocious pay. More and more work added with the promise of advancement but none ever given. Little to no training provided before you are expected to just take over whole sections of work/responsibility. Being contracted to a great company just shows you how terribly you are treated by your own. Very specific with the current world-wide health issues - but the company we are contracted to has shut down but there is no contingency for us, so we are just being told to continue to travel in to work and been told that if someone catches the virus that "they can use their PTO and sick time to quarantine themselves", however about 1/2 our team isn't even eligible to earn PTO.

Pros

+ Very Good Salary for certain roles. + Low attrition level in Pune offices. + Rapidly expanding teams in past 6 months. + Great office facilities and pick & drop facility + Offers training sessions on multiple topics

Cons

+ US leadership is struggling to find the growth path for CompuCom + Under pressure from Office Depot post acquisition + Poor Sales team and lack solution selling capability + Poor employee on-boarding process. + Internal IT team works in Silos. CompuCom calls itself leader in workplace services but their own Desktop team takes a week to assign you a hardware and a email address. India IT desktop team has poor skills where they cannot help you even with using google. Takes ages to fix the issues and need a ticket before they even touch the hardware. Laid back attitude and think they drive the business. + Poor Managers with insecure mindset with nothing to offer to team member. + Increment is offered in two cases only only if you are favored by the manager or if you are a female employee or both. + US team hardly like if you have an idea and never going to encourage you to take lead. Some of them will take your ideas and project it as their own. + India HR team is a puppet and most of the times HR executives have no clue and goes back to check with Senior HR. + Managers engage in divide and rule policy because they feel insecure. + Any role you are in do not expect any growth. + One of the amazing thing is they have Rewards and Recognition program which is completely biased and recognize the "chamcha" parties.

Pros

Variety of deal types to work on, there are some really nice people to work with.

Cons

US jobs are being rapidly outsourced, including the Solution Architect role. This will contribute to a reduction in solution quality over time. The disruption due to layoffs is pretty constant - wave after wave occurring over time. Expect *zero* technical training. Microsoft is moving into the middle of CompuCom's PC support business. That does not portend well for the future.

Pros

None left to talk about

Cons

So now there is a new President. Every time he does town halls he bashes everything the company did. Instead of moving forward, he continues to blame former teammates, former owners, former decisions, etc. You continue to say that we have no focus. What we sell isn't the problem. It is how we sell and the lack of training for our sales teams. And look in the distant past, when we did have that in place, the sales team still could not convert. When you put the "C" team in front of customers, they can smell it a mile away. Your problem isn't focus, it is the fact that you can't sell what you have. And we invest in no innovation and technology. You keep cutting that team to bits. And you wonder why you continue to bring in low end talent in a market that is on fire?
