Pros

Knowledgable team and management for my project. Good work environment. Good Benefits.

Cons

Currently, they aren't matching for 401k. They used to and I hope when things get better financially that they start that up again.

Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback. We’re so pleased to hear your experience is in line with the Great Place to Work culture we strive to provide. We agree happy employees translates to positive relationships with our customers. In fact, our CEO, Filip Gydé, continually affirms that, “Happy people produce quality,” and our leadership team is committed to fostering a work environment supporting that belief. We understand 401(k) matching is important to our employees. As such, we continuously evaluate market conditions, CTG’s benefits offerings, and the Company’s financial situation to ensure that we are always making the right decisions for both our employees and the financial health of the company.

Pros

The seem to always have work available

Cons

Garbage benefits, you are a job holder not an employee. They will fight to keep you in you position, but as a contractor you will always lose. They will not defend you even if you are right. No growth and no pay raises.

While it may be difficult to meet all our employees’ needs in terms of benefits packages, we continuously assess our benefits offerings against the market to ensure we remain competitive. Pros

They do most things through email, which is great if you're not a 'phone person'.

Cons

Benefits package is the worst I've seen (would cost me about 1/3 of my take-home pay to cover myself and my medical needs). You are basically paying out of pocket for everything so unless you are perfectly healthy, you are immediately thrown back under poverty line. Christmas... not paid, Thanksgiving... not paid, New Years... not paid You are forced to be out of work and not get paid. 401k, no matching No Vacation No sick time (unless you're located in a state that mandates it). You hear all about how well the company is doing and how they are expanding thanks to the money they make off of you. You are just a pawn to earn them money but don't expect the company to care about you. They get paid for every hour you work hard and offer absolutely nothing in return.

Thank you for taking the time to submit feedback. It’s clear you felt our benefits package did not meet your needs. Varying benefit and time off packages are offered to serve the diverse needs of our employees. We agree that CTG’s success begins and ends with our employees; they are the lifeblood of the company. In return for their invaluable contributions to CTG, the company aims to provide a Great Place to Work with a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment. We encourage any employee who is unhappy in their role to discuss their concerns with their manager.

Pros

-Flexible Managers and CTG WFA environment, professional, welcoming -Good co-workers -Some extra benefits are available if you seek them; CTG-University, Reimbursements, etc -Diverse cohort -W/L balance is fine - hours beyond 9-5 are not expected

Cons

-Unclear path to growth, promotions, raises -Benefits are expensive, compensation is ok -Vacation time is not gratuitous -Seems like a solid company, but not sure about long-term growth prospects -C-Suite, Executive, and particularly Marketing communications sometimes lack substance

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback. The positive qualities you mentioned in your response: teamwork, continuous learning, management support, and a healthy work/life balance are fundamental elements that earned CTG USA a second consecutive Great Place to Work certification for 2021! Our management and leadership teams encourage each CTGer to live up to their fullest potential by supporting career development and advancement. In order to help facilitate the career progression process, we recently implemented a Global Competence Management System, which guides in employees in identifying a career path and developing a learning plan. Be sure to ask your manager about it if you haven’t seen it yet!

Pros

-Phenomenal management - allowed me to take (unpaid) sick leave for mental health reasons. -Reasonable time off and work from home days with valid reason at the Administrative Assistant I level; You get one day of working from home per week when/if you move up to an Executive Assistant role or higher. -People tend to get promoted around the one year mark (I've only been working there since nine months so fingers crossed), and movement out of the admin department into other areas in Lenovo (where I'm stationed under CTG) is encouraged.

Cons

-Random spurts of non-stop work with hours of overtime, interspersed between phases of mind-numbing boredom -You choose one of three tiers of payment and benefits upon being given an offer. Top tier is more per year but limited benefits (and they're expensive per month to boot), and lowest tier is Hourly. I personally found this strange and it impeded me from negotiating my salary. Of course, that was partially my naivety.
