Transportation side, oof. could do better

Pros

Some cool people and opportunities to work on things that will positively impact the world. 9/80 schedule

Cons

Management is inept, they'll do everything they can to make themselves look good at the cost of the engineers' sanity. The requirement gathering process is nonsensical and they'll say yes to any of the customer's insane demands. A lot of work is outsourced to India in order to save money, but US workers are expected to keep with their time zone which creates burden on everyone. Pay is low. Processes are archaic.

Pros

Cyclical company wide lay offs. Severe lack of executive leadership. You might build something kind of cool though.

Cons

Overwork, low pay, attempts to strip benefits away every chance they get.

Expanding global company that does not promote from within.

Pros

Decent benefits and salary. Large company that is expanding and has a global footprint. Very sound financially.

Cons

Promotions do not happen from within. Nepotism and politics run rampant throughout the organization. Incredibly top heavy, not enough worker bee's.
