Expanding global company that does not promote from within.

Pros

Decent benefits and salary. Large company that is expanding and has a global footprint. Very sound financially.

Cons

Promotions do not happen from within. Nepotism and politics run rampant throughout the organization. Incredibly top heavy, not enough worker bee's.

Pros

People are friendly and assignments provide the opportunity to travel all over the world.

Cons

Constant management restructurings make environment stressful and chaotic. It is hard to keep up when the company re-organizes every six months. Technologies are aging and losing their edge. It is challenging to innovate in a business model that depends on government funded projects. Most employees are overworked and burned out.
