      Home Office Family Environment

      Pros

      Working at the Home Office is like a family. Involvement with charity is a positive benefit to the community. Lots of Home Office activities to keep employees engaged and to show appreciation.

      Cons

      Very top heavy in regards to SLT/ELT members, a "good ole boy" club with leadership, standards for eligibility for applying for new positions is not consistently upheld if leadership wants a particular person for a position, mangers are not well trained on how to effectively lead. High turnover rate in certain areas can be drastically changed if there is a "cleaning of house" of managers who should not be managers of people.

      I believe my experience was not as good as others do to my District Advisor being completely absent from his job.

      Pros

      Home Office is very helpful. Most District Advisors are actively supportive. There are other Advisors out there always willing to help you become successful.

      Cons

      Not enough administration help while trying to meet quotas. The District Advisors lack knowledge on products, but they sure act educated. Make sure what they are teaching you is factual. Make sure your DA is actively involved and liked by the other Advisors you will be working with. You will need it to survive. DA's are given too much power and can cause a lot of conflict within what should be a team.
