Pros

Training was great for career progression. Customer service with the home office was great also.

Cons

Pay is based on the advisors. Varies based on their commission.

Pros

parking garage and the gym

Cons

outdated and not up with the trends of the company. They still think the way they operate will sustain them forever. C-level execs need an update, the CEO doesn't run the orgnization- you will find out quick who everyone is afraid of and why nothing moves forward. Benefits are overpriced, (i.e.. single person for a low deductible is over $350/month and family is like $1200 for high ded.. that's ridiculous). They say they have culture and values but NO one in senior management follows it.. it's all fluff. Be sure to do your research in salary..they underpay significantly and HR will say they did analysis and not tell you the sources. The bonuses aren't bad, but the merits unless your manager fights for you, you won't get a decent merit. No growth opportunity and esp if the one head guy in the company doesn't like you, then no one will like you. It's a bunch of 1st graders that spread horrible rumors and ruin people's reputation if you go against the grain. Do not go to this company if you plan to make any difference and make improvements.. it won't happen.

Pros

Great supportive environment, the office manager is excellent, I feel like there is opportunity for growth if this is your career choice, you learn so much and really help people who need direction for their finances! My advisor only works me 25 hours a week and since I'm a student in college that works perfectly for me. I get paid $12.50 an hour and make about $1300 a month

Cons

No benefits included, how much you enjoy your job depends on the advisor who hires you, no paid vacation, no health, 401k etc... You are hired by an independent contractor so the advisor decides your wage
