Pros

I enjoyed the flow of the day even around mid April! It was busy but not overwhelming in the office that I was in.

Cons

I did not realize it was a retail business - which has a whole different flavor than professional. The people who have been with HRB for a long time have noted that the culture has changed - they used to pour more into their employees and take care of them; now the employees take care of employees.

Great co workers

Pros

The company is pretty nice to work for. Co workers are nice and make you not hate your job. You’ll get difficult customers for sure but they’re pretty far and few, and usually not something that can’t be solved by the tax professionals.

Cons

The job is seasonal which SUCKS because it’d be a great year round full time job
