Pros

There are almost no benefits at all. I beg you if you are looking for a receptionist job find any other company to hire you before going to this one.

Cons

They lie about working around your schedule and have way too many out of work expectations for the job title. The pay is next to none, the amount of scam "Campaign Calls" they want you to make is morally bankrupt. There is almost no training that is of any use and the management is almost never available to provide assistance if needed. I have yet to mention the toxic work culture and the ever present manipulation by the management team is downright horrible and borderline abusive. To sum this review up I would consider getting a receptionist job in Hell before I ever work here again.

Pros

On paper, the pay is alright. There are real opportunities for career advancement. Salary pay guarantees steady paycheck January-May.

Cons

Training and support from leadership was wanting. Instead of coaching conversations, they basically tell you "get good" and ignore your calls. They make it extremely clear that the Tax Pros are the only ones that matter. Your job is to wrangle them and get them to force additional products on their clients. Job is seasonal, and in the pre-season your compensation is roughly half of your salaried role. Do you like having any days off? Forget it. You will know zero peace between January and May. $1200 per week is good money, unless you have to work 7+ hours every single day of the week to get it. There are no weekends. There are no scheduled days off. There is no support from upper management. You are constantly on-call, but not compensated for it in any way. The high rate of turnover for receptionists guarantees at least 3-5 calls every day to your personal phone. Just got done working your fifth 10-hour shift in a row to fix office problems that your manager neglected to mention for the past 3 months? Well, the document scanner failed to load half of the client files. Looks like you're dumpster diving in the secure shred bin. Have fun!

Pros

You get to have experience to get a better job elsewhere

Cons

A lot of cons. Slavery type of environment. They don’t allow you to have days off. They treat you like a robot and expect you to work 7 days a week without any of your personal time. Over charge clients but employees don’t get paid fairly (below minimum wage for entry level). Upper management and experienced employees put pressure on those first year employees and force them to compete with each other. A lot of chitchatting to against specific employees they don’t like. They don’t talk in front of them, but they talk loud enough for them to feel bad about themselves. A lot of cold callings. You also have to put trash away, clean bathrooms, vacuum, and other stuff.
