      Needs a major overhaul

      Pros

      Flexibility, PTO policy for salary employees, great co-workers and ability to move up in the company.

      Cons

      At the end of tax season you feel as though you are on a year to year contract. You feel no stability in your position although you perform well and have an abundance of knowledge to contribute. You are made to feel like a number and when you number is called you feel like all of your blood, sweat and tears were for nothing. If you are one of the ones left behind there is a struggle to find other resources because your point of contact has likely been let go as well.

      CSP and Marketing Ambassador

      Pros

      Great people to work with, I never did much in the way of marketing and this year I was also Marketing Ambassador for four offices. I even won an award for most new clients in mt "home" office. I have an emotional/service dog that goes to work with me and people love her. Since she is a "natural" and for emotional support other can pet her and I had clients of the tax pros open the door and first thing they asked was she there. Being able to go back to work after being very sick was great, I was encouraged to learn and grow within the company in my title.

      Cons

      I was told I would be working this summer and did not look for a position and at the last minute I was told I would not be working, this was so unfair because if they had not told me I was hired for sure I would have started looking for a position months ago, instead I am in a panic because I will not have income for the time frame that I planned on having it and I have bills to pay!

      Pros

      I personally had a great office to run. Made my job so much easier. Our clients that come back every year really appreciate the great value we offer for complicated tax returns.

      Cons

      A lot of micromanagement from higher up, made is difficult to run the office. Almost no training within the business, most of it is done online which is fine but no clear instructions at all of our responsibilities other than the obvious.
