Pros

Every employee was very nice, friendly and helpful. I have made some forever friends while at this position. I hope to be hired back during next year's tax season.

Cons

There were some miscommunications and hard feelings during the season. It seems that everyone was not on "the same page" at times.

Calling in for my sick children was never a problem. Everyone has each other's back.

Cons

Pay, hours and the corporate mindset. The clients are feeling more and more that the company doesn't genuinely care about them.

Coworkers were always willing to help each other. Flexible hours. Half hour lunch breaks. Learned a lot about tax laws. Room for advancement. Enjoyed going to work everyday and talking to people.

Cons

Very low pay. Not allowed to wear tennis shoes. Dealing with irate customers. Company hires mystery shoppers to make sure you follow rules.
