      -close to home, free coffee

      Cons

      -depending on position within company, career advancement can be limiting -some people have poor attitude, not team-player, poor work ethics, you need to watch your back - people are 2-faced -many leaders are not qualified to to their job

      Decent benefits and a competitive salary

      Cons

      Just like office space, but in real life: poor communication between IT and Business and a real lack of common-sense toward anything. If its not institutionalized, it doesn't happen -- and it takes several committees to institutionalize anything. Really poor IT morale. Engineers feel unempowered to do anything.

      Very disorganized and difficult to get things done

      Decent pay. Very ambitious. Willing to put money into someone to train them or send them to a conference or whatnot.

      Cons

      Very poor ability to get things done. Every team and department has their own little systems and ways of doing things. People seem to manage to get things done by long-earned personal relationships, not by any set way of doing things.
