Pros

Work at home...that is it. If anyone tells you anything else, they are trying to con you into thinking it's a 'good place to work'.

Cons

If you want to help people, look else where. All they care about is that you get the 'customer' off in less than 10 minutes, con them into buying things, con the customer into thinking it's another department's fault, and 'help' them enough so that they don't call back in less than 5 days. Oh, and we are expected to not place in any tickets at all for internet issues. That is a stat required for promotion. So if you do your job, place tickets, and help customers honestly...do NOT expect to be appreciated or promoted.

Pros

Work at home available, flexible scheduling, great job for College student. My Supervisor was easy to work with and did not micro manage me. Good Employees are appreciated and taken care of.

Cons

Not enough training for some jobs, although the information is out there. Not a physical job, so it's easy to get sedentary. I do not like the on-call system that was recently instituted, but I realize it's necessary for the company, they have already modified it once, so they are trying to strike a balance between the Companies needs and the Employees.

The schedule is flexible. You can basically set your own hours. You can work from home. The environment is casual dress. There is very little stress in the work place.

Cons

The pay is low. The job can get mind numbing after sometime.
